BHR Golden Boy 453B is a deep ribbed, easy keeping individual. He was recently sold to ABS and semen is currently available through ABS. His calves are following that same deep easy keeping style. His dam Miss BHR Logan 017 is a typical 734B daughter. She is a deep bodied , great footed, outstanding uddered female. We absolutely love the 734B daughters. Golden Boy is in the top ten percent of the breed for Marbling. He will be an exciting bull to watch in the future of the Red Angus breed.
Exciting new herd bull that offers a ton of versatility. He is an easy keeping, easy calving bull that has a ton of rib shape and depth of body. The first calves are very uniform and show the same easy keeping potential that he does. He will be quite an asset as we move forward in our breeding strategies for upcoming years. Easy keeping females never go out of style.
Cougar is an excellent calving ease sire that was purchased from Feddes Red Angus. We have had numerous calves out of him and are very impressed with how well he calves and how well his daughters perform in the maternity ward.
New Chapter we have been using off and on for more than a decade. He is in the top 1%5 of the breed for Herd Builder and 1% of the breed for Stay. We've recognized that they are fertile and stay around forever and have taken advantage of that simple fact. With all the popular genetics in the breed we have used our decades of experience to sort through the "fads" and offer you the basics of functional breeding.
We purchased this calf because he combined one of our all-time favorite cows P4025 and one of todays most used sires Bieber Hard Drive. He was used for cleanup the first year and his EPD profile was in the top 13% and to 10% of the breed in Jan 2018. We feel that with extensive use of Hard DRive all over the nation that our bull should certainly have more performance than was indicated on paper. VIEW PEDIGREE
Defender is an easy keeping bull with lots of middle and muscle to him. We didn't get many calves from him but certainly look forward to getting more next year. His fleshing ability and carcass merit will be a bonus to our cowherd and our commitment to bringing you the best possible cattle that we can. VIEW PEDIGREE
691 is a young bull that you will certainly see more of in the future. His sire Windy Hill Zeppelin did a really nice job for us. They are noted for their depth of body and eye appeal. VIEW PEDIGREE
Bases Loaded sired calf crossed with 55. 55 is Lisa's favorite cow and this 2005 model is still going strong. We have had a couple of offers to flush her but hate to take her out of production. Feet, udder and structure are the added bells and whistles of 55. VIEW PEDIGREE
Calving-ease machine. Gene Raap allowed us to sample this bull and we loved how he calved. Females look like they will be excellent cows. VIEW PEDIGREE
Larger framed bull with some excellent maternal genetics. Calves are clean fronted and smooth shouldered. VIEW PEDIGREE
Deep bodied bull with a wide topline in a stylish package. Another bull that will be used heavily in the future VIEW PEDIGREE
